Theo Tzeka started to create Hyperonix in 2001 and saw the results that could be achieved with a smart Content Management System. His goal was to create websites in a more cost effective way. Over the years, he created and re-created the software in an original architecture based on the following principes:

• Develop a solution that creates web pages, not just set of modules.
• Make the web application scalable, and allow a website that was created in a previous version to be easy updated to the most recent version.
• Customize the Web Parts through the web interface, without code changes and expensive software.
• Integrate custom control with Hyperonix CMS and customize control properties by using the same interface used for  the built-in Web Parts.
• Grab Web Part properties from the database, not from the code to avoid website redesign in the event of operating system, database or .NET platform changes.

The results were incredible. Since 2001,the operating system has been upgrated  from Windows 2000 to 2003 and 2008, the database  from MS SQL 2000 to  2005 and 2008, the programing language from Native ASP to .NET 1, .NET 2 and .NET 3 - all these changes were actualized but the site never needed to be redesigned. The upgrade is a simple procedure of importing the content and customization to the new database.
